the Sunday showcase is an opportunity to share a short piece with a supportive audience in any form: song, poem, monologue, dance -- anything goes
(priority spots go to workshop attendees)

Design a poster for Your Story, Your StageGuidelines:

  • Design should have the words "Your Story, Your Stage" on it, with enough space left for us to add other event info (see sample design below these guidelines)

  • Must be 8.5 x 11", portrait orientation, not landscape

  • Ideal colour palette includes the colours featured in the heading above and in the sample images below (black, white, and pale green), but not required!

  • Preference for handmade designs but will accept digital

  • Handmade designs must be scanned and sent as a high-res PDF

  • Digital must also be a high-res PDF

Super Normal Productions was founded by Karmelle Spence-Sing in 2024 while staging her breakout one-act original play Sméagolly Blonde.The small production company also serves as a container for a variety of performance projects Karmelle undertakes.Such projects include producing and acting in indie theatre, organizing the Your Story, Your Stage workshop series, performing in drag shows, and more.

about the ~ artiste ~Karmelle (aka algorerhythm in drag) is simultaneously passionate about digital media and being on stage in real life.
The iconic sounds, memes, and anxieties of post-90s internet and pop culture are at the forefront of their work.
Currently based in Nelson, B.C., Canada.
